Not necessarily. Honors instructors are encouraged to make courses more enriching. Smaller class sizes allow for increased interaction with faculty and fellow students, which may make the learning process more manageable through added support and communication. Collaborative projects, civic learning, and research-based activities are encouraged within these courses to add meaning and value to what you are learning.
Not necessarily. Honors courses tend to be faster paced and more intellectually challenging to meet students’ appetite for learning, but they should not require significantly more time than other courses.
It depends on your academic path, but for most students, Honors courses count toward the credits you already need to graduate.
