University Risk Management serves as a trusted partner to the University community by overseeing the University’s traditional risk management functions, including those supporting the Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓÆµ. The department works collaboratively with University partners to advance loss prevention initiatives and manage claims and incidents. Additionally, University Risk Management conducts program and compliance reviews to identify liability and property exposures, as well as enterprise risks that could impact the University’s strategic goals and objectives.
University Compliance serves as a trusted partner, delivering coordinated guidance and data-informed insight to support compliance responsibilities across the institution and enhance awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Because compliance is a shared responsibility, we are here to support that collective effort.
