Approximately 70 new faces are on campus this week for the second session of Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at ����԰��Ƶ's New Student Orientation. Students in the programs of Counseling and Art Therapy, Biomedical Sciences (Ph.D.), Biomedical Sciences – Research (M.S.), Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Surgical Assisting and Pathologists’ Assistant will be on campus Aug. 21-23.

The took place Aug. 7-9 and included approximately 185 students in the Doctor of Medicine and Medical Master's programs. A for the MD Class of 2028 was held Aug. 16 at Harrison Opera House.

A feature of both sessions is the keynote presentation by Robert Fullilove, Ed.D., entitled “Cultural Humility and The Future of Medicine & Public Health.” Dr. Fullilove is the associate dean for community and minority affairs at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, professor of clinical sociomedical sciences at Columbia University Medical Center and co-director of the Cities Research Group.
