As we approach the faculty evaluation cycle, we want to share an update on the availability of FY2025 proposal and award activity data.

At this time, producing a separate fiscal year (FY2025) report before the faculty evaluation deadline is not feasible due to several critical system and data enhancements currently underway. These improvements, coordinated with the Vice President for Research and the Provost’s Office, are focused on strengthening data integrity, reporting capabilities, and future self-service access.

We recognize that centralized data can be helpful during review periods. In the meantime, faculty may reference their own records, and the annual Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) report will be a helpful reference, as it includes expenditures by faculty and project. One remaining schedule is still being finalized before the SPA report can be posted, and we expect to share a more specific timeline in short order.

Calendar year (CY2025) proposal and award data will be provided to Dean’s Offices in mid-March. Faculty may wish to connect with their Dean or the Provost’s Office regarding any preferences for fiscal year versus calendar year data for future evaluation cycles.

Looking Ahead

New self-service data dashboards will be available in the near future, allowing faculty to access proposal, award, and expenditure information directly and on demand. Department chairs will also have access to view proposal, award, and expenditure activity for the faculty they supervise, making this information easier to review and manage going forward.
