Description: This workshop introduces students to the publication process and how undergraduate research can develop into publishable work. Students will learn the differences between journal articles, conference proceedings, and collaborative publications, as well as the roles of faculty mentors and research teams in authorship. The session also covers ethical research practices, expectations around contribution, and how publications strengthen graduate school applications. Designed to demystify a process that often feels inaccessible, this workshop helps students see publication as a pathway, not a prerequisite.
