Description: This workshop explores what it means to navigate research and graduate academic environments as a first-generation or historically underrepresented student. Students will discuss unspoken norms, expectations, and challenges in academic spaces while learning strategies to build confidence, advocate for themselves, and thrive in research and graduate school settings.
