Tuition Assistance for Spring 2027
Applications are being accepted through Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Dear Colleagues,
Applications for the Spring 2027 Tuition Assistance Program are now being accepted. Eligible classified, hourly, Teaching and Research, and Administrative and Professional Faculty employees may apply for themselves or an eligible dependent/spouse.
Application deadline: Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Late applications will not be accepted.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, employees must meet the following requirements:

Service requirement: Full-time employees must have completed one year of continuous full-time service with ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓƵ by December 1, 2026. Part-time and hourly employees must have worked a total of 2,080 continuous hours by December 1, 2026. Adjunct teaching service does not count toward service eligibility.

Employees must be admitted as degree-seeking students.

Employees must be registered for the course or courses indicated on the application.
All Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓƵ programs are eligible, with the exception of the M.D. program.
Credit Hours Available
Eligible employees and eligible dependents/spouses may apply for up to six (6) credit hours total for Spring 2027, which can be applied fully to the 16-week full term or divided across the 8-week terms.

Employee Classes Not Eligible
The following employee classes are not eligible for Tuition Assistance:

Teaching/Research and Administrative/Professional Faculty on restricted appointments, including residents, fellows, and similar appointments

Student employees, graduate assistants, and work-study participants

Temporary or emergency hires

Adjunct faculty
