CPR Certification Classes

Get certified in CPR and First Aid for a job or for your own knowledge! This American Red Cross course involves online modules and an in-person skills test on ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓƵ's campus at the Student Recreation & Well-Being Center in the Wet Classroom.

Lifeguarding Certification Courses (3-Day Courses)

Become a certified lifeguard! The American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course teaches the knowledge and skills needed to help prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. This includes land and water rescue skills as well as first aid and CPR/AED. There are specific swim skill pre-requisites, so check those out on our website prior to signing up.

This course is an in-person three-day course at the ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓƵ Student Recreation & Well-Being Center in the JC Scrap Chandler Pool and Wet Classroom.

Course time commitment includes Friday 5:30-9:30 p.m. for a swim skills pre-requisite test, and Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. for the curriculum.

Water Safety Instructor Certification Course (5 Day Course)

Become a certified swim instructor! The American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course, also known as WSI, trains candidates to teach water safety programs, including the Basic Water Rescue course, the six levels of the Learn to Swim program, and Parent and Child Aquatics. There are specific swim skill pre-requisites, so check those out on our website prior to signing up.

This course is 5 days long, spread over two weekends. You must attend all sessions to receive your certification.
