About this Program

ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓÆµ offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater and dance with a major in dance. The ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓÆµ Dance Program engages students in a dynamic and transformative process of dance training, fostering curiosity, imagination, versatility and innovation. Through interdisciplinary learning, scholarly research and engagement with local and global communities, students experience dance on many levels helping them to think critically and live creatively as dance artists.

Requirements

What are the requirements to apply for Dance at ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓÆµ?
Students entering the Bachelor of Arts program in Dance should meet the minimum university admission requirements Undergraduate Admission.
    • In-person auditions will be held on January 29, 2022. Everyone who auditions in-person will be considered for dance scholarships.  
      Online auditions received by March 1, 2022 will be considered for dance scholarships.   
    • High school students attending the program auditions will be considered for a scholarship to the ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓÆµ Summer Dance Intensive taking place in June 2022.

Tuition is charged per credit hour. Amounts shown are tuition only and do not include mandatory fees, technology-delivered course fees, course-specific fees, books, housing, meal plans, or other costs. Scholarships

A limited number of students may qualify each year for scholarships from ÒÁµéÔ°ÊÓÆµâ€™s M&S program. Through generous donations to the Dance Program, six scholarships ranging from $750.00 to $4500.00 are awarded each year to deserving dance majors. To be eligible for a scholarship through the dance program, a student must be a declared dance major and must exhibit exceptional commitment, talent and a positive attitude. Additional scholarships are available through the Office of Financial Aid.
